 Juanita moved to Wales in 1991, where she set up her own business 'Clewter Jays'.  She uses the medium of papier mache, which she finds wonderfully versatile, and enjoys developing her own pulp and layering techniques.

 Juanita is inspired by the diversity of the natural world around her.  Many of her pieces are quirky with a sense of fun, while others are more thought provoking.  She recycles where possible, to produce contemporary creative colourfull items, each one hand painted.

 Juanita was accepted by the Society of Wild Life Artists for their exhibition in London 2005
